Burton International is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified staff interested in either full time, part time and casual positions to perform a routine Histology and Haematology.
 
The successful applicant must be able to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision, and possess appropriate tertiary qualifications:

• Scientists - acceptable science degree with subjects relevant to pathology that meets Australian Institute of Medical Scientists (AIMS) minimum requirements

• Technicians - Medical Laboratory Science diploma

You must have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in a diagnostic medical laboratory in the previous five years.
 
You will be able to demonstrate:

• Attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work both as part of a busy team and autonomously when required

• Knowledge of quality assurance systems and scientific instrumentation / equipment

• Extensive experience in a pathology laboratory environment
